If you are looking to get into model flying or are looking for a new club to join, you are more than welcome to come down & have a chat with us! You’ll usually catch us flying on Saturday or Sunday mornings from 9am. If you aren’t sure, simply check our Forum where we’ll let you know if we’re flying or not. Our field can sometimes get a little damp when there has been rain throughout the week so it always good to check.

One of our primary focus’ is to foster a layed back and relaxed atmosphere when flying model aircraft. The only sort of stress we are interested in is the type that pulls wings off aircraft! Everything else gets left at the gate. So we encourage you to come down a few weekends so we can get to know each other, help you choose what to buy if you are new to the hobby etc. After a few weeks we’ll suggest you download and print a membership form and bring it down to the field!
Membership fee’s:
Are comprised a payment to Aeromodellers NSW (ANSW) who are a member of the Model Aeronautical Association of Australia (MAAA) which covers insurance costs & a membership payment to PRCAC which goes towards the use of the field (Payment of Council Fee’s, Mowing the grass etc…).
-Family discounts are available for Parents & Juniors who sign up together.
-PRCAC does not accept membership during late May/June.
-1/2 Yearly rates become available in January.
-Note the joining fee’s only apply once, renewing club members pay a discounted rate.
The Joining process:
- Firstly, please be aware of our Club Rules, They are for your safety and you may be tested!
- Join our Forum and introduce yourself there. All PRCAC members are required to have a forum login as all official correspondence is transmitted via the forum software to members.
- Through the forums, find the correct times to come and have a few visits to the field and meet our members & committee
Once we get to know you, its suggested you bring a membership form down to fill out and sign, this will then be passed to our club committee for approval. Once they approve membership you will be asked to fill out an online membership form and pay your fees: To legitimately fly at our field you need to be covered by insurance (part of your MASNSW Fee). You will need to have paid the insurance portion & membership fee before we can even let you loose with your plane, this is for your protection and ours.
After a few months probation the club committee will meet to discuss your membership. In the unlikely even that there has been a complaint made against you, you will be refunded the club membership portion of your fee and be free to seek associate membership with other MAAA associated flying clubs for the remainder of the financial year.

Your application must be seconded/witnessed by an existing PRCAC member. Print one out & bring it to the field to be signed.
